Pacific Pride Foundation’s biggest fundraising event of the year is just around the corner and we need the community’s support. How can you help?
If you’re interested in volunteering on an ongoing and flexible basis over the summer, then join our Walker Outreach Committee. This group will communicate regularly with potential AIDS Walk teams and individuals. For more information contact Jerry Schwartz or call 805-963-3636, ext. 103.
Forming a team is a rewarding experience that we’re sure
you are going to enjoy. Begin by making a list of friends who may be interested
to learn about the walk. Tell your friends why you care,
and why you would like them to join you. The size and composition of
your team is up to you. No minimum number of people is
required. We do, however, recommend recruiting at least
five team members, because the larger the team, the
easier it will be for your team to reach its suggested
goal of $500. Next,
brainstorm how the group can raise your fundraising goal
– we suggest a goal of $250 for each Walker. For more information contact Aydin.
