Get your team together, set a goal, and start walking!
There is no limit to the amount of money you can raise
when you work together as a team. Several years ago, the
Café Monet Team from Santa Maria raised $12,000 and had
almost 100 team members!
- We recommend team goals of at least $500. Let your
team know this, then sit down and collectively
brainstorm ways to achieve your goal. Think BIG!
- Team members should turn in pledge totals to the
Team Captain who will keep track of how much your team
raises. We’ve included a sample Team Leader Form for
the Captain to keep track of the pledges.
After recording the pledges, the Team Captain should
notify the Pacific Pride Foundation office with the
collective team totals by Wednesday October 3, 2007
at 5:00 p.m. Also, call your AIDS WALK recruiter with
the exciting news!
- All teams raising at least $500 in pledges by
then will be listed as a Heart & Sole Team in the
AIDS Walk program on Walk Day.
- Each team member should turn in all pledge
sheets and donations at the AIDS Walk Registration
Booth beginning at 9:00 a.m.
- Each walker who raises $150 in pledges earns a
free Heart & Sole AIDS Walk T-shirt!
You are the head cheerleader for your team and your
enthusiasm is infectious! Most of all, BE PROUD of the
impact you are having on helping Santa Barbara County
respond to the AIDS epidemic.
