HIV Education & Trainings

The HIV Education and Prevention Department offers a variety of educational sessions, training, presentations and in-services for community groups, parent groups, social service agencies and school and college classrooms on topics of HIV/AIDS, safer sex, substance use and HIV, Hepatitis C and Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections. Presentations are offered in both English and Spanish.

Positively Speaking - HIV Positive Speakers Bureau

One of the most effective ways of educating people on the seriousness of HIV/AIDS is to hear the personal testimony of someone who is infected with HIV, or living with AIDS. Our speakers are trained to present their stories in a clear manner that gives the listener someone they can relate to and an experience that educates and inspires. Our Positively Speaking Speakers Bureau provides HIV+ individuals as speakers in classroom settings, as well as for other community groups and agencies. Contact us to schedule a presentation or for information about upcoming Positively Speakers Trainings.
