OUTspoken Speakers Bureau

One of the most effective ways to educate is to interact directly with members of the community. The Outspoken Speakers Bureau is a panel of trained volunteers who are willing to speak about their lives and experiences as LGBT people.

The OUTspoken Speaker's Bureau offers panels of diverse and knowledgeable speakers for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and HIV-impacted communities. These panels are available to speak to local schools, colleges, and organizations on topics relevant to the gay community.

Volunteer for the Speaker's Bureau

The Speaker's Bureau receives approximately 5 calls a month requesting someone to go out into the community and speak about a variety of gay and lesbian issues. And with a limited number of speakers in our database, we sometimes struggle to provide speakers for the community. Representing PPF and the LGBT community can really help educate the larger Santa Barbara community.
