Pacific Pride Foundation's Family Services Program is
designed to support the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual
and transgender families by
 coordinating a broad range
of recreational activities, public forums, educational
venues and events.
Families of Pride provides a safe environment for family
interaction. Through activities such as social
gatherings, ice cream socials, family picnics and
workshops where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT)
families build a unified community with common bonds.
Events are for everyone—mom and mom, dad and dad, single
parent, and kids enjoy and participate in play
activities.
The program seeks to build public awareness through the
celebration of diverse family structures, support a
cohesive network of family-focused community
organizations, and provide resources and referrals on
LGBT family-friendly service providers. |
