Social and community events are an important part of the
life of the Pacific Pride Foundation. We work very hard
to provide events that build community and help raise
funds to support our programs and services, and we
welcome your participation.
Pacific Pride Foundation sponsors a number of special
events annually, and more are being added all the time.
- Our summer time Pacific Pride Festival brings
community together to educate and celebrate. With a
Saturday festival and evening activities all weekend
long, Pacific Pride Foundation gives Santa Barbara
County residents and visitors ample ways to show
their pride.
- AIDS Walk is Pacific Pride Foundation’s largest
and most important fundraiser. With proceeds going
directly to our HIV/AIDS programs and services, it
is a great opportunity to involve yourself in a
worthy cause. Be an active part of keeping Santa
Barbara County healthy by walking individually, as a
team, or by sponsoring this event.
- Get Out and Golf Women’s Classic, Tournament,
Dinner and Auction is an annual Pacific Pride
sporting event. It has proven to be an entire day of
fun and friendly competition at the Glen Annie Golf
Club. After the match, golfers stay and invite
guests, spouses and friends to the dinner and
auction portion of the evening. This year’s prizes
included a 2-day romantic get-away, a week in Palm
Springs, flying lessons, harbor cruise, and many
more.
- Pacific Pride Foundation also hosts Pride B
Ques. These afternoon backyard bar-b-ques are fun
and casual, with food, drinks, djs and more.
- Sunset @ the Andalucia is a monthly cocktail
mixer atop downtown Santa Barbara’s only luxury
hotel. With breathtaking views of the mountains and
ocean, LGBT and allies enjoy appetizers and
beverages while mixing and mingling.
- Our youth events target LGBT and allies aged
14-23 and include weekly meetings, Queer Prom,
sports activities, opportunities to volunteer within
the community and more.
We are always looking for volunteers to help organize
upcoming events as well as doing outreach to the
community.
