Part Time Independent Contractor
Maximum amount of contract - $4,500
Estimated time: 10-15 hours per week for the months of June, July, August, September and October
Working the Director of Development, the AIDS Walk Team Recruiter will be responsible for the implementation of the annual AIDS Walk Team Recruitment. Responsibilities include contact with potential/past Team Leaders, Walkers, etc. The ability to interact with potential AIDS Walk participants while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude is essential.
Must possess the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines, as well as excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of File Maker Pro and Microsoft Office Suites preferred.
- Excellent verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively work with Director of Development, volunteers, donors and staff from many departments as well as members from the community
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, projects, and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cooperative team
- Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office products/software and FileMaker Pro
- Local travel required
- Familiarity about HIV/AIDS is a plus.
