Interested in
participating in Safe Zone Training? Research
indicates that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex
(LGBTQI) students, faculty, and staff find many campus climates to be
uninviting or even hostile, complicating attempts to foster student
development, and workplace satisfaction. The
UCSB Safe Zone Project is a 60 minute informational training aimed at
providing education on LGBTQI issues to foster a safer, more welcoming and
open atmosphere for all members of our community. Student
