In May 2009, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger proposed eliminating state funding for California's HIV/AIDS programs. If approved by legislators, the cuts would mean the loss of vital programs that save thousands of lives. Take action now-- join the fight against HIV cuts! Learn more ...

On June 24, 2009, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) introduced the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), a bill that would protect all workers from discrimination, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Did you know that:
- In 38 states you can be fired from your job if you are transgender.
- In 30 states you can be fired from your job if you are lesbian, gay or bisexual.
It's time to get involved: Click here to contact Congress and demand that LGBT people are protected from workplace discrimination. Right now employers in MOST states can take away the livelihood of you, or your friends, or your family members, simply because of who you are. This blatant denial of the rights of LGBT people is an affront to the United States' potential as the standard bearer for equality and a disgrace to every American. Congress needs to hear from all of us, and they need to hear from us now.
Please take action right now, and then urge your friends, family and co-workers to act as well.
